We definitely recommend that you plan your wedding dress shopping day and take the opportunity to visit some of the local landmarks and awesome eateries whilst you’re in the area. We are situated on Colchester High Street and if you fancy a bit of history you could combine your special wedding dress shopping expedition with a visit to Colchester Castle. We’re situated almost opposite this gorgeous castle which sits in beautiful castle grounds – you could make a memorable day even more memorable! All of our appointments are entirely private and we’ll welcome you with complimentary refreshments when you arrive. There are also some great places locally to eat however in fact you could decide to enjoy afternoon tea or enjoy a cocktail with your #bridetribe - just shout and we can point you in the right direction and advise of the best time to make reservations so that it sits conveniently with your appointment.
Our gorgeous wedding shop is situated in a Georgian property and spans four floors. You’ll walk into a spacious reception area (which can get busy on a Saturday, please be warned). After a stylist has greeted you, you’ll then be shown to one of our air conditioned private consultation suites. I’ve got to be honest; before we had air conditioning it did get really hot in-store, but now... it’s gorgeously cool when it needs to be and roasty toasty in the winter! It’s a real blessing, our brides and grooms absolutely love it (as do the team) so it’s been one of the best building upgrades ever!
The best place to park when you visit our bridal boutique is Roman Road in Colchester. It’s a short 5 minute walk from either of the two car parks located there. If you have elderly guests or people that can’t walk with ease please do be sure to pop your hazard lights on whilst you drop off and we can ensure they are comfortable in reception whilst you park the car.
