We’ve been asked countless times to throw a party so that our brides can wear their wedding dresses again and finally we decided ‘hell yeah … let’s do this, it will be awesome!!’ ….
So after months of planning and hard work and discussions with some of our closest business friends we’ve managed to pull together a fantastic charity party at Prested Hall all in aid of Help for Heroes and the best bit? We’re raising money AND Brides get to wear their wedding dresses again.
On Sunday November 10th Prested Hall and the Abigails Collection team play host at our ‘Wear your wedding dress again’ charity party. We’re all celebrating (wedding day stylee) and with red carpet entry, canapés and bubbly and the do is shaping up to be rather fabulous …
Our Charity party is all in aid of Help for Heroes. Over the weeks and during the planning the whole team at Abigail’s Collection the Groom’s Room have become passionate about raising money for this worthwhile cause. Chavasse VC house is one of four Help for Heroes UK recovery centres and it’s based here in Colchester. The recovery centres are a launchpad back to civilian life for the veterans that have become either wounded, sick or badly injured whilst serving for our country. This is our way of saying thank you. Life for these Guys will never be the same again and these recovery centres help to give these veterans the best chance of a fulfilling future. And that is why we’re all trying to raise money for the Help for Heroes charity…. We have some fabulous entertainment lined up, some rather scrumptious treats to eat and the evening is going to be really rather brilliant!
