Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way, tra la la la la la la la fa la la laaaaaa…. Okay okay I think you got it…. Well I’m certainly feeling all Christmasey that’s for sure! Our lovely red & gold themed Christmas Bridal window is in, complete with a stunning snow princess wedding dress by Mark Lesley and beautiful fluffy wedding day fur shrug by Emmerling, a pretty twinkly tree, a tartan kilt Groomsman and a very glam silk green Mother of the Bride outfit! On the subject of windows, I must add that I adore the Colchester Williams & Griffin windows this year, simply stunning, if you’re at that end of Colchester High Street be sure to have a look they are absolutely gorgeous! So we’re counting down to Christmas and celebrated our staff night out on Saturday, it was a really fab evening, Kirsty made the most beautiful Christmas Crackers for us all, we did a Secret Santa (Hollie thought she had guessed everyones but got it totally wrong, he he ha ha) and we did a little lucky dip too! Rob and Joshua (who one of our latest menswear recruits) spent most of the evening chuckling at the Whoppie Cushion noise! I do hope no-one heard, sorry to any other restaurant customers if your supper was ruined … so childish, lol!! Our staff head count has increased too and we’re delighted to welcome Amanda Hill and Charlie Dorling, our two final recruits that now makes our team up to 8 helpful, happy and professional personnel. Welcome aboard Guys we hope that you enjoy working with our Customers as much as we do! Well, November in-store was another brilliant month for Abigail’s Collection as we gained membership to the RBA (Retail Bridalwear Association). RBA members are financially sound and secure bridal retailers who offer professional standards of care and service with high standards of stock and decor. Following a thorough assessment and interview process we are delighted to have been approved and pleased to be associated with the organisation. Look out for more details coming soon to our website. So what’s new on wedding dress front? Well (drum roll please) we’ve added an absolutely gorgeous new wedding dress label to our collection by Mon Cheri (in-store from March), these dresses are sophisticated and elegant, glamorous and stylish and we’re really excited about them arriving the dresses made from the finest fabrics and offer the most exquisite corsetry. Look out for the beautiful images on our website soon. Oooo and talking images we were lucky enough to be involved with a brilliant photo shoot which took place at Lilleshall Hall in Shropshire, we chose to feature stunning gowns by White Rose, hair accessories by Richards and Park Lane and all of the Menswear was by the fabulous Peter Posh to whom we owe our thanks, the shoot was a huge success, some of the beautiful images will soon appear on our website, alternatively you can view them on our business facebook page. Peter Posh featured their new range of stunning waistcoats and neckwear available from the Groom’s Room at Abigail’s Collection, image updates will be online soon. Wow! So we’ve been busy haven’t we?
